I am an experimentalist currently pursuing a PhD at the Polymers for Advanced and Sustainable Manufacturing Lab at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, India.
My research lies in the field of electronic packaging, where I am focused on understanding the structure-property relationships in epoxy resins. These materials are critical in a variety of semiconductor applications, and my goal is to develop materials with excellent adhesion to copper, along with thermal, thermomechanical, and dielectric properties that make them ideal for use in build-up films for high-density interconnect substrates. At the PolyASM lab, my work involves thermal analysis and spectroscopy of these crosslinked epoxy glasses, and material synthesis as well.
Before my PhD, I worked in biomaterials, where I explored novel applications such as using hollow fiber membranes for hemodialysis systems at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India, and investigating DNA encapsulation in lipid vesicles toward artificial cells at Institut Charles Sadron, Strasbourg, France. This diverse background has enriched my understanding of material science and guided my current focus on electronic packaging.
Outside of research, I’m passionate about cycling, gardening, cooking, and doodling, and building stuff from Lego. If you’re interested in discussing my work, talking about research in general, or if you share any of these hobbies, feel free to reach out—I love connecting with others and exchanging ideas!
